Merlot Friuli 2020 D.O.C

A fantastic Red Wine formed within the strict DOC guidelines. Derived from the Merlot grape, harvested around the end of September. The colour is a ruby red colour. On the nose, it has a full bouquet with notes of raspberry, blackberry and blueberry. On the palate, it's dry and soft. It has a pleasant and harmonious taste with a slight herbaceous flavour. This wine pairs excellent with savoury first courses, red and white meats, roasts, game and semi-matured cheeses. Ideally served at a temperature range of 16-18°C.
