An extraordinary award-winning Riserva Red Wine formed within the strict DOC guidelines. Derived from the precious Aglianico grape, vinified in contact with the skins for a long period and at a controlled temperature. After a short time in large Slavonian oak barrels, the wine is aged in barriques for a period ranging from 18 to 24 months. It is then bottled to continue ageing.
The colour is an intense ruby red. Its aroma is complex with pleasant hints of ripe red fruit and jam with a hint of spice. The taste is elegant, complex with a good aftertaste and pleasantly tannic. This wine goes excellent with red meat and game. Ideally served at a temperature range of 16-18°C.
