Borgo Molino Serna Rosso 932 2018 I.G.P.

An incredible Red Wine derived from Refosco, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The colour is an intense ruby red with garnet hues. On the nose, it is remarkably complex and spicy aromas with elegant notes of vanilla, black pepper, cinnamon, leather, and refinde fruity nuances. On the palate, it is fruity and persistent with a sweet and enveloping tannic sensation with a long and pleasant finish. This wine pairs excellently with grilled meats, baked meats, game, and is ideal with aged cheeses. It is ideally served at a temperature range of 18-20°C.

DESCRIPTION

Borgo Molino Serna Rosso 932 2018 I.G.P. 15% (Red) Training System: Guyot Harvest Time: End of September, beginning of October.

Vinification: The grapes are selected and harvested by hand. Part of the Refosco grapes are harvested in trays and left to dry for about two months in well-ventilated lofts. Consequently, takes place the de-stemming (separation of the grapes from the stalks).

The skins remain in contact with the must to favour the evolution of the colouring substance and the extraction of tannins, all at temperatures between 26°-28 ° for
14-16 days of maceration, then separated. The de-stemming takes place for Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon too. They receive the same process of extraction and maceration as Refosco. Subsequently, the step of ageing and maturation takes place in
French oak barrels (500 Lt. Tonneau) for about 24 months. It is then aged for 4 months in the bottle before release.
