Oro Falanghina Del Sannio V.S.Q Brut D.O.C

A dry medium-bodied award-winning Sparkling White Wine derived from the Falanghina Grape. Spumante is known as the Prosecco of the south and this wine is born in the purity of its vinification. V.S.Q stands for Vino Spumante Di Qualita and this translates to "Quality Sparkling Wine". It has a pale straw colour, persistent and a very fine-grained perlage. On the nose, it is full of hints of white flowers, bread crust and almonds. The taste is fresh, dry and harmonious with good persistence. This goes excellently well when paired with buffalo mozzarella, appetizers, first courses of raw and cooked fish, grilled fish and vegetables. It can absolutely be enjoyed as an aperitif on its own too. Ideally served at a temperature range of 6-8°C.   PLEASE CONTACT US DIRECTLY FOR TRADE PRICES.

Oro Falanghina Del Sannio V.S.Q Brut DOC 12% Farming of the grapes: Obtained from the Falanghina grape, grown in calcareous-clay soils at an altitude between 150 and 350 m.a.s.l. Located on the slopes of the Regional Park of Taburno-Camposauro, the breeding system is espalier with a yield of 90 hectares and an average vine age of 5-15 years. The harvest takes place from the middle of August, using selected vineyards. Vinification: The grapes are harvested by hand and transferred to the winery in boxes. There follows the soft pressing of the whole grape. The fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks for about 15-20 days in cold refinement on fine lees. The base wine obtained is refermented in an autoclave according to the Martinotti method, where it is refined over 6 months.
