Piane Di Maggio Cerasuolo D’Abruzzo D.O.C 12.5% (Rosé)
Farming of grapes: This wine is obtained from the Montepulciano D’Abruzzo grape, grown in the countryside of Ortona, in the province of Chieti. At an altitude of 250 m.a.s.l, exposure of the vines from South, Southeast. The thermal values characterize a rather warm texture, ideal with conditions that have a positive influence on the quality of the grapes. An Abruzzo trellis training system is used for planting. The yield per hectare is 130q. The harvest takes place during October.
Vinification: After careful selection, the grapes are de-stemmed, then, very gently, crushed, causing as little damage as possible to the skins. Ageing takes place in stainless steel tanks prior to bottling.
