An excellent organic and vegan extra dry Prosecco Treviso DOC. It is sparkling with a sweet character, aimed at those looking for products that respect the environment. Ideal for a spritz with friends or to celebrate an event with loved ones. This Prosecco is light and fruit. It has a straw yellow colour. On the nose, it has floral notes, lemon and fruit. On the palate, the wine is fresh and sweet. Very easy to drink and lighter than other sparkling wines. This wine pairs excellently with light appetisers, cakes or is perfect as an aperitif. Ideally served at a temperature range of 6-8°C.

Organic Alba Prosecco D.O.C Treviso Extra dry 11% (Sparkling Wine) (Vegan)

The small Prosecco Alba winery is located between the distinctive hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene which is located in northern Veneto towards the foothills of the Alps. This area is known worldwide as the heart of Prosecco and now recently has become a Unesco World Heritage Site. In this region, the warm climate, occurring rainfall combined with the steep, well-drained slopes of limestone, clay and sandstone make it the perfect environment to grow the Glera grape. The company was founded in 2015 in Conegliano, a historic city of wine, which in recent years has become, together with Valdobbiadene, a sparkling wine centre and symbol of Prosecco. In fact, it is here that this wine was born, today it has become the most sold in the world. It is therefore halfway between the Dolomites and Venice, thus enjoying a windy climate that helps the cultivation of the vine.

The idea of the company comes from the will to do an agriculture sustainable, respecting the environment, using the system of integrated production, weeding mechanically and not chemically, and minimizing water consumption thanks to precision systems. The lands that make up the company surface, all adjacent to rivers, have silty characteristics, thus giving the earth a rich mixture that gives important nutrients to the vines.


After the grape harvest, the production process in the cellar is divided into two macro phases: the first fermentation and the second, also called sparkling wine.

Both processes consist of the transformation of sugar into alcohol through the use of yeast. In the first fermentation, however, the sugar is natural, contained in the grapes and the CO2 is dispersed in the air. In the second fermentation, the Martinotti method (also called”Charmat”) is used, in which sugar is added and the vent of the autoclave remains closed to retain the CO2 inside the wine, thus giving it the characteristic perlage of sparkling wines.

The pressing takes place after the grapes are harvested by hand at the start of September, gathered from vineyards and transported to the winery. It’s accomplished by sophisticated equipment which presses the grape very gently so only the free-running juice from the heart of the berry is extracted. After the pressing, the turbid must is left to rest in stainless steel tanks and chilled to a temperature of 50°F (10°C). After approximately 10-12 hours, the limpid part of the must is separated from the deposits and fermentation begins. The vinification takes about 10 days and is completed in stainless steel tanks kept at a constant temperature of 65°F (18°C). The limpid Prosecco still wine is foamed adding specially selected yeasts and the right quantity of sugar needed to obtain the required amount of bubbles. The whole process takes about 20-25 days at a constant temperature of 60-65°F (15-18°C), once sparkling is obtained it is chilled at 25°F (-4°C) for 3 days, it is then filtered and bottled.
