Description
Masseria Jucco Primitivo IGP Puglia 2019 13% (Red)
Farming of grapes: This wine is obtained from the Primitivo grape, grown in the old vineyards selected in the municipalities within Puglia. The thermal values characterize a rather warm texture, with little annual rainfall and very high-temperature ranges; ideal conditions that have a positive influence on the quality of the grapes. A Row orientation system is used for planting. The harvest takes place during the second half of October.
Vinification: After careful selection, the grapes are de-stemmed, then, very gently, crushed, causing as little damage as possible to the skins. The grapes are then fermented in stainless steel tanks for 10-15 days at a temperature ranging between 25 and 28 °C. The wine is aged for 12 months in stainless steel tanks followed by a further 4 months in the bottle prior to release.
