Ginesia Cerasuolo D’Abruzzo 2019 D.O.C 13% (Organic Rosé)
Farming of grapes: This wine is obtained from the Montepulciano grape, grown in the old vineyards selected in the municipalities of Orsogna, Filleto and Guardiagrele. They are small towns in the province of Chieti in the Abruzzo region of Italy. The soils are made up of textured lands and generally end with a limestone substrate and rocky outcrops sparse. The thermal values characterize a rather warm texture, with little annual rainfall and very high-temperature ranges; ideal conditions that have a positive influence on the quality of the grapes. A Row orientation system is used for planting. The harvest takes place during the first week of October.
Vinification: After careful selection, the grapes are de-stemmed, then, very gently pressed to prevent the colour transition of the skins while preserving the extraction of the polyphenols. The grapes are then fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures ranging between 16 and 18°C.
