A brilliant award-winning wine coming from the vineyards of DO Rueda. The wine has a clean, straw yellow colour with greenish sparkles. On the nose, intense aromas perfectly draw together the sweet fruit, green herbs and white flowers. On the palate, velvety mouthfeel with a big touch of acidity. This produces a lovely lasting aftertaste with a characteristic of bitterness on the finish. This wine pairs excellently well with fish, seafood, rice and poultry. Ideally served at a temperature range of 07-10°C.
The area is characterized by being formed by platforms of boulders, poor in organic matter and with some limestone layers in the highest levels.
Weather conditions
Continental weather. Cold winter and extremely hot and dry summer with important differences in temperature between day and night.
Winemaking process
The harvest takes place during the nights of the first few weeks of September. Maceration is done at a low temperature for 8 to 12 hours. After the neumatic pressing, the alcoholic fermentation takes place at a low temperature in tanks of stainless steel. The wine remains on its lees until clarification; after that cold stabilization treatment and careful filtration is done.
